The Miss El Dorado County Pageant is always opening day of the El Dorado County Fair in June
The Miss El Dorado County Scholarship Pageant is a community service-based scholarship pageant designed to empower, encourage, and inspire young women throughout El Dorado County. This fun and welcoming program focuses on building confidence, leadership, friendships, and personal growth while providing contestants with opportunities to give back to their community. No previous pageant experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone, have fun, and shine both on and off the stage.
JR Miss - Ages 12-14
Teen - Ages 15-17
Miss - Ages 18-27
Scholarship amounts for the Miss El Dorado County Scholarship Pageant vary each year and are dependent on the generosity of sponsors, donors, and community support received throughout the pageant season. Scholarship values are determined after pageant-related expenses have been covered, including crowns, sashes, special awards, stage décor, flowers, photography, and other event costs.
While the goal each year is to provide scholarships to as many titleholders as possible, scholarship availability and amounts may vary by category from year to year. Beginning each January, the pageant directors actively seek sponsorships and donations in an effort to grow scholarship opportunities and continue supporting the young women who participate in the program
